We want the best for our cows and we try to do a little bit better every day. For example, most of the cows that produce the milk for our cheese graze outside in the pasture for an average of 180 days a year and 10 hours a day. This results in two and sometimes even three seasons every year!

The cows graze on fresh grass, have a soft surface on which to walk and lie down and can spend time outside in the fresh air. This creates happy cows that are free to display their natural grazing and herd behavior.

The cows are also well looked after in the winter. We pay close attention to giving them the right accommodation. For example, most of our cows have soft beds and delicious massage brushes in the barn.
